During her time at WVU, Sadaf was a big part of student media. She was on staff at The Daily Athenaeum for a year and a half as both a reporter and the assistant news editor. During her final semester, she was a news broadcaster for U92 The Moose College Radio. She also was a staff writer intern for WV News. Sadaf was also active in student organizations, with memberships in Pi Beta Phi sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota fraternity for women, Order of Omega, and Sigma Tau Delta.
When she's not in the news room, you can likely find her in the kitchen, either cooking or baking. She is also a big coffee drinker, rivaling Starbucks for how much coffee she goes through a day. She also enjoys reading.
