CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WDTV) -- The Clarksburg Police Department has shut down another home under the city's "Drug House" Ordinance.

City officials say the home at 215 Ohio Avenue is the 14th shut down by the ordinance.

An investigation determined the house was being used for activities such as drug possession and trafficking. An order of abatement was given Monday to Carrie Higgins, the owner of the home, who police say has been cooperative throughout the process.

Under the ordinance, property owners are subject to fines if they do not abate their house's situation within 30 days of the order being presented.
