UPDATE: Teenager passes away after Preston County accident

Officials have confirmed that a teenage boy involved in an accident last week has passed away.

15-year-old Brayden Bishoff was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of North Preston Highway and Furfin Road. Officers said the car hit standing water and lost control before hitting a tree.

Three other juveniles were also involved in the accident. They were also taken to the hospital. There is no additional word on their conditions at this time.

Four people were hurt in a single-vehicle accident in Preston County Wednesday, according to the Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

It happened at the intersection of North Preston Highway and Furfin Road. Investigators found that the car was traveling north on North Preston Highway when it hit standing water, lost control, and hit a tree.
