CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- UPDATE
West Virginia University has canceled classes for Wednesday as part of the day of mourning.
Classes including labs, review sessions, and exams have been moved to Friday as a make-up day. Officials say students are encouraged to keep in contact with their professors for any changes regarding the classes on Friday,
Many WVU services, including residence halls, the Mountainlair, and student health will be open Wednesday.
All public schools in West Virginia will be closed on Wednesday for the national day of mourning for President George H.W. Bush, according to the State Board of Education.
Pierpont Community and Technical College has also announced they will follow their final exam schedule Wednesday.
Governor Justice issued an executive order to declare the day of mourning, which classifies as a federal holiday, into a state holiday as well.
All state and national agencies will be closed.
