Boil water advisory lifted: Fairmont

A boil water advisory issued in the town of Fairmont has been lifted.

A boil water advisory has been issued in the town of Fairmont until further notice.

The town of Fairmont said there was a main water line break near the intersection of Morgantown Avenue and Suncrest Boulevard.

The areas affected include: Morgantown Avenue, Dixie Avenue, Lafayette Street and surrounding areas.

Residents are advised to use boil or bottle water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing or food preparations until further notice.
