CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WDTV) -- Both West Virginia state constitutional amendments have been passed.
Amendment 1 will add wording to the constitution saying that nothing in the constitution protects the right to abortion.
Amendment 2 allows more legislative oversight for judiciary spending, allowing lawmakers to lower the budget by up to 15%.
While Amendment 2 was passed with a solid majority, the controversial Amendment 1 passed by only a few percentage points.
