HARRISON COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) - Bridgeport high school celebrated their homecoming court during the annual parade.

The streets were lined with family and friends cheering on various community sports teams and clubs, along with the marching band.

The parade began on Philadelphia Avenue and ended right outside the high school on Johnson Avenue.

Students showed off their creativity with game night themed floats such as Clue and Monopoly.

It was also a time for the nominees for homecoming court to shine.

"It was so much fun getting dressed up and seeing Carson and all our friends, it was awesome," said Rachel Steele who, along with Carson Winkie, are the junior homecoming court representatives.

The homecoming game against the Robert C. Byrd Eagle's is this Friday at Wayne Jamison field followed by the dance on Saturday.
