Convicted murderer found guilty of sexual abuse and incest

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man who served more than a decade in prison for murder is now facing more time in prison.

Granville Ray McCloud was found guilty Monday of third-degree sexual assault, sexual abuse by parent or guardian and incest charges.

According to the criminal complaint, McCloud had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old family member for a year. The teenager told investigators the relationship was consensual and happened during the span of a year.

McCloud's sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 16. He faces several decades in prison.

Cabell County Prosecutor Corky Hammonds tells WSAZ, “These convictions should permanently revoke his parole, making it impossible for him to ever get out of prison.”
