Crews respond to scene of a vehicle fire on I-79 in Marion County

Multiple crews responded to a vehicle fire on I-79 on Tuesday morning in Marion County.

According to 911 dispatch, the call came in just after 8 a.m. for the vehicle fire in the southbound lanes near mile marker 138.

No injuries were reported and one lane was shutdown to traffic at the time, causing some minor delays in the area.

No word on what caused the vehicle fire, but the scene has since been cleared and traffic is now moving up to speed.
