DOH implements road repair plan in Harrison County

Harrison County.W.Va (WDTV) Harrison county residents say they had their fair share of rough roads.

But the DOH is implementing something they think will help keep the roads look cleaner and a stay safe.

Officials have separated Harrison County into individual sections and one by one the DOH plans to inspect the roads in each section.

All roads in need of maintenance will be taken care of.

Harrison County resident and new driver, Wesley Cotter says that if the roads were fixed by this new plan, his mind would be put at ease.
"I just got my license in April so I'm kind of new to this and everything and i have noticed a lot of potholes. i drive a car that's low to the ground and it'd be nice to not worry about hitting any potholes and busting any of my tires, so it'd be nice to have nicer roads", says Cotter.

The DOH was unavailable to give any comment on the new plan, but it is known that they hope it will lead to more reliable road service for the residents.
