Elkins woman charged after meth found during traffic stop

BARBOUR COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A woman from Elkins is facing charges after police say she drove with methamphetamine in her car.

According to the criminal complaint, police pulled over Tara Strawderman near Belington after they claim they saw her cross the center line multiple times. Officers say she had "constricted pupils ... slurred speech ... droopy eyelids ... and a blank stare." The officers found meth in the car.

Strawderman also allegedly failed multiple field sobriety tests. She is charged with possession with intent to distribute.
