A man and woman captured after crashing into a gate at the CJIS FBI facility have been charged.
According to the criminal complaint, Oneil South was driving towards to East Gate of the facility when he stopped and spoke with an officer. The officer noticed that Oneil was holding a pipe commonly used with illegal drugs and asked Oneil to pull over out of the traffic lane to a safe spot.
Officials say Oneil started to pull over before speeding into the complex and hitting a car before leaving the scene. Oneil then ended up driving over an embankment before getting out and fleeing on foot. Officials say the passenger of the vehicle, Samantha Mcdaniel, was taken into custody at that scene. The car was searched and drug paraphernalia was found inside.
Oneil was later captured behind Dick's Sporting Goods in Bridgeport.
According to officials, it was discovered that the car Oneil drove during the incident was a rental car that had been taken from outside of United Hospital Center.
Oneil is charged with fleeing with reckless disregard and grand larceny. Mcdaniel has been charged with possession of stolen property, with a charge of possession of a controlled substance pending.

According to the FBI, two people are in custody after an incident at the CJIS FBI facility in Clarksburg.
Officials say a vehicle went through the facility's West Gate before crashing over a hill. A man and a woman that were inside the vehicle then ran off.
The woman was caught near the scene and a search was initiated for the man. He was arrested in Bridgeport at around 9:20 a.m.
"At this time, there are believed to be no ties to terrorism. FBI Pittsburgh SAC Jones commends the work of the FBI Police and Bridgeport Police who helped take the suspects into custody quickly. There were no injuries and the investigation is continuing," FBI officials in Pittsburgh stated.
The names of the suspects have not been released at this time.

A suspect has been captured after a manhunt Tuesday morning.
The search began after an incident at the Clarksburg CJIS FBI facility.
“We have very limited information at the moment,” Chief John Walker told media-partner Connect-Bridgeport. “We were called in for an accident at the FBI site. We’re not sure if he ran through the gate or ran the gate at the main entrance (off of Jerry Dove Drive), but he left the car and fled on foot into the woods.”
At that time, the search was on for the subject. Bridgeport Police joined other law enforcement agencies in the hunt for the suspect.
The search began at around 7:30 a.m. Authorities captured the suspect at 9:20 a.m. without incident in a wooded area behind Dick's Sporting Goods in Bridgeport.
FBI Police, the Clarksburg Fire Department, and the Bridgeport Fire Department also responded.

The FBI and local authorities are searching for a person who crashed into an FBI property, according to Bridgeport Police Chief John Walker.
The search took place near Meadowbrook Mall. It is believed the suspect fled on foot.
