UPDATE: Man arrested by FBI in Trump threats denied bond

A Pennsylvania man accused of threatening President Donald Trump and law enforcement officials has been ordered to remain detained pending a trial.

Shawn Christy is charged with making threats against Trump, Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli and others.

When asked to enter his plea in federal court in Scranton on Friday, the 27-year-old said he is "absolutely not guilty."

The federal judge decided he was a flight risk and couldn't be released on bond.

Prosecutors say Christy posted threats on Facebook in early June, naming the president and anyone trying to detain him on the basis of a bench warrant.

Christy was on the run for about three months and was captured in September near Cleveland, Ohio.

WFMZ-TV says he interrupted prosecutors several times Friday and went on a profanity-laced tirade against law enforcement.

The U.S. Marshals Service says a Pennsylvania man accused of threatening President Donald Trump and law enforcement officials has been arrested in Ohio.

They say Shawn Richard Christy was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Friday in Mifflin Township, near Columbus, by marshals and task force members from Ohio and Pennsylvania.

A federal warrant was issued June 19 for the 27-year-old McAdoo man in connection to Facebook posts threatening to shoot Trump and a district attorney in Pennsylvania. Officials say he also threatened a police chief.

Pennsylvania warrants issued for Christy allege burglary, probation violation and failure to appear for an aggravated assault case.

Authorities say Christy stole a truck Sunday from the area of McAdoo, Pennsylvania, and fled after abandoning it Sunday on Interstate 71 in the Mansfield area, about 65 miles north of Columbus.

Authorities say a Pennsylvania man accused of threatening President Donald Trump and law enforcement officials is being sought in Ohio, where he is believed to have abandoned a stolen truck.

The U.S. Marshals Service says Shawn Richard Christy stole a truck Sunday from the area of McAdoo, Pennsylvania, and fled after abandoning it around 5 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 71 in the Mansfield area of northern Ohio.

Authorities say a federal warrant was issued June 19 for the 27-year-old McAdoo man in connection to Facebook posts threatening to shoot Trump and a district attorney in Pennsylvania. Officials say he also threatened a police chief.

Pennsylvania warrants issued for Christy allege burglary, probation violation and failure to appear for an aggravated assault case.

Authorities say Christy should be considered armed and dangerous.

More information has been released about a man wanted for threatening President Trump.

The FBI says 27-year-old Shawn Richard Christy was last seen in Cumberland, Maryland. He is believed to have stolen a 1997 GMC Sierra pickup truck with the Pennsylvania license plate ZGL-2845.

Christy is 5'10", approximately 160 pounds, and has a tattoo of a cross on his upper right arm. He speaks with a noticeable lisp and claims he is a survivalist. You cna view images of him above and below.

A reward of $20,000 is being offered for information leading to Christy's arrest. Any information given to authorities will be kept confidential.

Christy is originally from McAdoo, Pennsylvania where he is wanted on multiple warrants. In June, a warrant was issued for Christy's arrest a post on his Facebook page threatened to kill President Trump and another man and use "full lethal force" on any law enforcement trying to detain him.

Christy is believed to have stolen multiple vehicles while on the run. One of those vehicles was stolen from Pennsylvania and found in Nitro, WV. Another was stolen from Huntington and found in Adair County, Kentucky. Yesterday, Christy was positively identified in Cumberland, and is believed to have stolen the GMC.

Federal authorities have announced a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a Pennsylvania man accused of threatening President Donald Trump and other officials.

Twenty-seven-year-old Shawn Christy of McAdoo is also wanted in Pennsylvania on arrest warrants for burglary, probation violation, and failure to appear for an aggravated assault case.

Officials say Christy has threatened to use “full lethal force on any law enforcement officer that tries to detain me.” A federal warrant was issued June 19 for Christy in relation to Facebook threats against Northampton County’s district attorney.

The U.S. Marshals service, the FBI, and the U.S. Secret Service are asking for help for the public but warn that Christy should be considered armed and dangerous.

The FBI says they are searching for a 2001 Jeep Cherokee believed to have been stolen by an armed and dangerous man wanted for threatening the president.

Shawn Christy is wanted for threatening to shoot and kill President Trump and use "lethal force" on any law enforcement trying to detain him. The FBI says Christy has also allegedly threatened another vis social media as well.

The Jeep being searched for is green and was serving as a mail delivery truck in Adair County, Kentucky. Adair County is where a vehicle believed to be stolen from Huntington by Christy was found. Christy had also previously stolen a vehicle from Luzerne County, PA that was found in Nitro.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Christy's arrest. Above, you can see surveillance images of the stolen Jeep and a man believed to be Christy.

Christy is wanted for threats against President Trump and other law enforcement, and is considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

A car that Christy stole from Pennsylvania was found abandoned in Nitro on Thursday.

Christy is approximately 5'10" and 165 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest.

A car stolen by Christy was found and detained in Nitro on Thursday. Christy is considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS, and may be in possession of multiple stolen guns.
