Fairmont State University opened a full-service Chick-Fil-A on campus for residential and commuter students.
As one of the most popular restaurant chains among college students, a full-service Chick-Fil-A is a way for the university to help accommodate their students.
Last week the restaurant opened their doors and had a record-breaking first day of operation.
Today, however, was their officials ribbon cutting for the opening of the restaurant.
Officials from the university say having Chick-Fil-A is a great way to help with recruitment and with student satisfaction.
"It gives the opportunity to bring together the entire family of Fairmont State University. Students, faculty, staff and the community in one hub," said the President, Mirta Martin.
The restaurant is open to the public and is located in the Falcon Center.
