Fairmont man charged after allegedly stealing Jeep from lot, crashing it

MARION COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Fairmont man is behind bars after he allegedly stole a car from a dealership and crashed it.

According to the criminal complaint, on December 6th, 28-year-old William Murray allegedly stole a 2019 Jeep Cherokee from Urse Dodge, striking a gate on his way out.

The vehicle was found on December 17th on Bobcat Lane.

Murray is charged with grand larceny and conspiracy.
