MARION COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) -- A man from Fairmont is facing first degree robbery charges after he allegedly kicked in a door and robbed a hot spot.

According to the criminal complaint, Michael Mancino admitted to robbing Digit’s Hot Spot. Mancino said he kicked the door in, demanded money, and ran away. He allegedly told police he used a sharp piece of metal he found on the road as a weapon.

When Mancino was arrested, police say he was wearing the same shoes, had the same backpack, and cap that was seen in the surveillance footage.

Police say he had $684 and Mancino told them he spent some of the money from the robbery on heroin.
