UPDATE: Armed and dangerous murder suspect captured

Officials say William Littleton is in custody after over a week on the run.

Littleton, also known as 'Ed' and 'Pumpkin' is charged with murder after the death of Justin Michael Cassella on December 26th.

Officials say they received an anonymous tip that Littleton was at a home off of Route 310 on Fairmont's East Side. He was arrested Monday at around 8:30 a.m. without any incident.

Fairmont Police, the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Marshals Service took part in the arrest.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of an armed and dangerous second suspect in the murder of a man the day after Christmas.

Justin Michael Cassella was found dead with a gunshot wound at a home in the 2000 block of Dixie Avenue December 26th.

William Edward “Ed” “Pumpkin” Littleton is being sought on 1st-degree murder charges.

Littleton is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, please call 911.

On Friday, 34-year-old Richard Allen Moore II was charged with 1st-degree murder in the shooting.

A Fairmont man has been charged with 1st-degree murder in the death of a man found shot to death on Wednesday.

Police say 34-year-old Richard Allen Moore II was charged Friday after Justin Michael Cassella was found dead with a gunshot wound at a home in the 2000 block of Dixie Avenue on Wednesday.

Officials say another person of interest is being sought in the case. No further information about that person is being released at this time.

Moore is currently being held at North Central Regional Jail without bond.
