BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) - The flood waters have receded on Monday night after covering Wayne Jamison field in Bridgeport during the morning.
The turf field can be seen after it was fully underwater.
The city's park behind it, also underwater early Monday, but now only a few puddles can be seen on the baseball fields and playground. A section of the sidewalk still holds some inches of water.
Parking in the area was also underwater but by the afternoon, cars were able to drive up without a problem.
