Grafton Monster Sign Found

The Grafton Monster Sign which had been missing for days, has been found. Sheriff's deputies received a tip about who might have stolen it. They reached out to his grandmother, who then placed a call to her grandson, hours later the sign is back.

The man who stole it is a WVU student. Deputies say he stole the sign and took it to his dorm in Morgantown. Sheriff Austin says he is pleased the sign is back home in Grafton

Deputies aren't charging the suspect, so we are not releasing the name, but he will be serving community service.

Brendan Gallagher, the man who paid for and put up the sign reached out to 5 News and told us he is concerned the sign might be unusable because it was folded.
