Harrison County woman facing drug charges after a shots fired incident

HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va (WDTV) - A woman from Harrison County is facing drug charges after police responded to a shots fired incident.

According to the criminal complaint, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office responded to a shots fired call in Quiet Dell, where they found 28-year-old Ashley Harris and another passenger sitting in a sedan.

When they approached, officials say they saw a smoking device, a small bag of crystal meth, and a firearm in the car. While searching the car, police say they also found 1.3 oz of crystal meth, baggies for packaging drugs, scales, and a loaded .22 cal gun.

Police say the passenger admitted to firing the gun that prompted the 911 call. Harris is charged with possession with intent to deliver.
