UPDATE: Alcohol believed to be a factor of a head-on collision in Harrison County Thursday.

HARRISON COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) -- UPDATE 6/28/19 @11:42 am
According to a Harrison County Sheriff's Deputy, alcohol was believed to be a factor in Thursday's head-on collision.

According to police, they found alcohol in the red truck belonging to Timothy Wise.



UPDATE 6/27/19 @3:30 pm
1 person was flown to the hospital, another taken by ambulance after a head-on collision in Harrison County.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Robert Matheny both vehicles were traveling on Route 19 by the Lewis/Harrison County lines. According to the sheriff, the vehicle traveling north, for an unknown reason, crossed the center line and hit the other vehicle head-on.

The extent of the injuries are unknown.

Crews are on scene of a two-vehicle accident in Good Hope

According to 911 dispatchers, it happened on in the area of Gooseman Road on Good Hope Pike.

Dispatchers tell 5 News that it was a head-on collision with entrapment. We're told at least one person is hurt.

The road is closed while crews clear the scene.

HealthNet is on the way. West Milford Fire Department, Harrison County EMS, Jane Lew FD and the Harrison County Sheriff's Office all responded.
