BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WDTV) - The White Oaks Retail Village off the Jerry Dove Drive Exit on 1-79 in Bridgeport will soon be a little busier. Developers from the Thrasher Group are adding a second retail park to the corridor.

Currently, one big name has confirmed their spot in the retail park. That business will be a drive-thru Starbucks.

Along with Starbucks, there will be room for up to four more retailers to set up shop. Those other shops haven't yet been confirmed.

An estimated 140 jobs will be created by the project, either through the construction or the businesses themselves.

According to a representative from Thrasher, the project costs $2,823,500.

Construction on the Starbucks is expected to be completed at the beginning of June, however there is no definite date as to when the coffee shop will actually open.
