In this Kate's Corner, we are making our own bouncy balls!

So here's what you'll need:

- 1/2 cup of warm water

- 1 tablespoon of Borax

- 2 tablespoons of white glue

- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and

- Optional: food coloring and glitter

In a bowl, add half of a cup of water water and 1 tablespoon borax. Stir this up very well.

Now in a second bowl or cup, add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 2 tablespoons of glue, food coloring and glitter if you want.

Once all of this is mixed up, we are going to put it into our water and borax mixture. Let this glue and cornstarch sit for 10 seconds. The solution and the mixture interact and the glue begins to harden.

Take out your glue mixture and roll it into a ball. If it is still sticky, pop it back into the solution. Roll it up in your ball. Make sure to get the bubbles out of it. The bubbles will make the balls not bounce as high.

Once you get it shaped into a ball, try bouncing it! To keep it bouncy, store it in a plastic bag. If your ball hardens and dries out too much, just add some water onto it.
