With the warmer weather, we're spending more and more time outside. A classic outdoor activity is drawing on the sidewalk with chalk. Instead of buying chalk, we are going to make chalk with just three ingredients.

Here's what you'll need:

- Water

- Cornstarch

- Food coloring

- A mold or muffin tin

In a bowl, combine equal parts of water and cornstarch. I mixed together one cup of water and one cup of cornstarch.

Once that is mixed together well, we are going to pour it into our molds. Since I don't have any fun molds at home, I'm just using a muffin tin.

After you have the chalk distributed between the holders, I'm adding a few drops of food coloring to give my chalk some color.

Now it's time to let our chalk sit and dry for at least 12 hours or more depending on how much mixture you used. Once it's dry, pop out your chalk and get to coloring on the sidewalk.
