Man arrested after admitting to stealing camper

MARION COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Farmington man has been charged after he admitted to stealing a camper from a local storage facility.

According to the criminal complaint, officers responded to Climate Control Storage in White Hall Thursday after the camper was stolen. Surveilance video showed a man entering the facility as a customer exited and taking the camper.

Officers say they were able to track the suspect's truck to a home, where they found the camper. The suspect was identified as 55-year-old Theodore Cochran. Cochran told police that he was sorry and that he stole the camper because he was homeless. Police say he also admitted that it was a "stupid" thing to do.

Cochran is charged with entering without breaking and grand larceny.
