Man arrested after allegedly breaking into store and stealing bicycles

SHINNSTON, W.Va. (WDTV)-- A man was arrested after he allegedly broke into a store and stole two bicycles in July.

According to the criminal complaint, Timothy Sendling was caught on video breaking into an outbuilding attached to Minor's Auto Sales on Pike Street.

According to police, Sendling took two bicycles valued around $500 each. Sendling then backed his van up to the side of the store and loaded the bicycles into the van.

Police say that they got information that the bicycles were located at Sendling's home at Farnum Road.

According to the criminal complaint, police went to the home of Sendling and found the bicycles on the front porch.

Police say they took pictures and sent them to the owner of the store's son. The son confirmed that the bicycles belonged to his father.

Sendling has been charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny and is currently being held at North Central Regional Jail.
