Man arrested after pointing gun to father's head

BARBOUR COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV)-- A Barbour County man was arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun to his father's head.

According to the criminal complaint, Julian Jones got into an argument with his father at the Quick Pit Station in Philippi June 6. Jones then pointed a pistol to his father's head for some time before pointing it away.

According to the criminal complaint, officers received a warrant for Jones' arrest and went to his home Monday.

According to officers, they searched Jones and found two pill bottles that Jones didn't have prescriptions for.

Jones was charged with wanton endangerment with a firearm and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He is currently being held at Tygart Valley Regional Jail, and his bail is set at $35,000.
