Man pleads guilty to sexually abusing minor

HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV)-- A man pleaded guilty Wednesday to sexually abusing a minor.

According to the Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney's office, Christopher Whitehair pleaded guilty to 2 counts of sexual abuse as a parent/guardian, one count of incest and one count of sexual abuse in the first degree.

Whitehair will be sentenced to 20-60 years of imprisonment if the judge in the Harrison County Circuit Court accepts the plead agreement, according to the prosecuting attorney's office.

The prosecuting attorney's office says that Whitehair will have to register as a sex offender.

Whitehair is schedule to appear in court September 23 at 3 p.m., according to the prosecuting attorney's office.
