Mon Health providing free flu shots

MONONGALIA COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) - If you are still looking to get your flu shot Mon Health will be having stations around the state where registered nurses will be giving out the vaccination for free.

They stress that even if you don't normally catch the flu, getting the vaccination will also protect those around you.

"A little stick is better than a big sick," Angela Bohon, a registered nurse who was giving free shots at Scott's Run Settlement House Wednesday night. "And even though you might say that you're healthy and that you never get sick you have to remember the people that are around you, just because you don't get sick all the time getting the flu shot protects the people around you as well as protecting yourself,"

Tomorrow Mon Health will be at the Milan Puskar Health Right clinic from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the Raymond Wolfe Pantry in Kingwood from noon to 3 p.m.
