Morgantown man arrested after breaking into apartment, taking bath, clothes, and snacks

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A Morgantown man has been arrested after breaking into an apartment and making himself at home.

According to the criminal complaint, police responded to an apartment on Mclane Avenue Sunday night after it was reported that a man had gone into it that shouldn't be there.

Police say they discovered 34-year-old Steven Six at the apartment. Further investigation found that Six had entered the apartment, taken a bath, put on clothing in the apartment, lit candles and packed himself a bag of snacks.

According to the complaint, officers found a key in one of Six's pockets at the time of the arrest. Six told police that he did not know what the key went to. Police say they tested the key and it unlocked the deadbolt on the apartment.

Six is charged with nighttime burglary.
