MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) - Morgantown Police are investigating a stabbing that happened overnight on Pietro Street.
According to a press release, officers responded to a reported stabbing shortly after midnight. Officials said the victim had four stab wounds. They said none seemed life-threatening.
The victim was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Their condition has not been released.
Detectives continue to follow up on leads but said they believed it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
