A home on Blossom Drive in Cheat Lake has been ruled a total loss after a fire Wednesday morning.

Two people were inside the home at the time. They were able to make it out. A dog inside the home was killed in the fire.

Officials say three people lived in the home.

There is still no word on the cause of the fire.

Multiple crews responded to the scene of a structure fire in Monongalia County, Wednesday morning.

According to Mecca 911 dispatchers, the fire was confirmed at a home on Blossom Drive.

There's no word on if any injuries were reported.
