UPDATE: More information released about Marion County murder investigation

More details have been released about the investigation into a Marion County murder.

According to the criminal complaint, Deshawn Glover admitted to shooting Josephus Coburn off of a private roadway near 291 Kisner Hill in Marion County on March 14.

Glover also has been charged with Grand Larceny for stealing a 2006 GMC Sierra on March 21.

Coburn's body was found by two hunters near the Monongalia-Marion County line on March 24.

Officials confirm that the suspect in the murder of a man found Saturday is 20-year-old Deshawn Glover.

Glover allegedly murdered 34-year-old Josephus Coburn, whose body was found by two hunters near the Monongalia-Marion County line last Saturday. Coburn had been listed as a missing person the day before.

The cause of death was determined to be a homicide.

Glover is being held in North Central Regional Jail.

Marion County Sheriff Jimmy Riffle tells 5 News that a murder investigation is underway from Saturday.

Riffle says on March 24, two hunters found the body of a white man on the Monongalia-Marion County line off Rt 73. The body was identified as 34-year-old Josephus Coburn. He was listed as a missing person by family the day before.

The Medical Examiners Office determined that the cause of death was a homicide.

Riffle says someone is in custody, but the name of the suspect is not being released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
