UPDATE: Man killed at Ace Home Center after an ongoing dispute

UPDATE 07/09/19 @ 5:56 p.m.

According to the Ritchie County Sheriff's Office, one person was killed after being shot at Ace Home Center in Pennsboro Tuesday morning at around 10 a.m.

Law enforcement say the incident was a continuation of a dispute between Ace employee Johnny Gregg and Brian Cronin. During the incident Cronin confronted Gregg.

Gregg then shot Cronin according to officials while he was in his car at the Ace Home Center parking lot.

According to the Sheriff's Office, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE 7/9/2019 2:16 p.m.

According to Ritchie County Sheriff Terry Snoddgrass, an Ace Hardware employee shot a disgruntled male customer who had a disagreement with the employee.

According to the sheriff, the shooter cooperated with police and no charges have been filed yet.

The investigation is ongoing.

Ritchie County Sheriff, Terry Snoddgrass told WDTV that a disgruntled male customer had a disagreement with a employee at the Ace Hardware in Pennsboro.

According to the sheriff, the shooter cooperated with police and no charges have been filed yet.

Sheriff Snoddgrass also says the victim was shot in his vehicle.

One person is dead after a shooting in Ritchie County Tuesday morning.

According to the Ritchie County 911 officials, they received a call at 10:18 a.m. about a shooting at the Ace Hardware in Pennsboro.

Police officers are still on scene.
