HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- One man was taken to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in Harrison County Friday morning.
According to 911 dispatchers, the man accidentally shot himself in the back just before 8:30 a.m. on Oak Street in Laurel Valley, while he was trying to put his gun in his holster on the back of his pants.
The West Milford Fire Department, Harrison County EMS, Health Net and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department were all alerted about the incident.
The man was transported by ground to the hospital. There is no word yet on his condition.
