Arrest made in Clarksburg auto-pedestrian accident

CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) -- UPDATE 6/10/19 @ 11:40 a.m.
We're learning new information about Saturday's auto-pedestrian accident in Clarksburg.

It happened shortly after 9 p.m. by the Central Fire Station on West Main Street,

Clarksburg Police told 5 News that a 51-year-old male was injured in the incident. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Police also told us that an arrest was made.

So far, no names have been released. We're working to get you more details.

A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in downtown Clarksburg shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, 911 officials told 5 News.

It happened on West Main Street by the Central Fire Station.

The driver was allegedly under the influence, authorities said.

The pedestrian was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Their condition is unknown at this time.

There's no word on any arrests.
