UPDATE: Nutter Fort robbery suspect arrested
The suspect in a Friday robbery has been arrested.
51-year-old Patrick Thomas Knotts was arrested Saturday, after allegedly robbing Speedway in Nutter Fort.
According to the criminal complaint, Knotts allegedly told the clerk that he had a gun and threatened them, stating he would come back for the clerk if the panic alarm was pressed.
Knotts left with store items and money.
Knotts is currently being held in North Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Officials are looking for a suspect after a robbery at Speedway in Nutter Fort Friday morning.
According to the Nutter Fort Police Department, an alarm call was received around 4:54 a.m. from the business. A search was then performed around the area.
Officials say a suspect had entered the business, picked up some items, and told the clerk that it was a robbery and that he had a gun. The clerk gave him the money from the register, and the man left the business.
Officials say the suspect is an older white male wearing blue jeans, brown boots, and a black leather jacket with a hood on and sunglasses.
