Police investigating after body found near rail trail in Morgantown

Morgantown Police responded to the downtown area Saturday morning, just before 8:30 a.m., where they spoke to a person who believed that there was a deceased person laying along the rail trail near the Walnut Street Bridge.

Officers responded to that area, where they located an unresponsive African American male who was laying in the area next to the rail trail.

The victim has been identified as Arthur W. Bagenda, 19, of Bethesda, MD.
