UPDATE: Morgantown man arrested in connection with shooting at Morgantown Gentleman's Club

A Morgantown man, originally from Detroit, has been arrested in connection with a shooting at the Exotica Life Gentleman's Club.

According to a press release from the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office, 25-year-old Fred L. Deauntae Hudson was arrested and charged with three felony offenses including malicious assault, wanton endangerment and prohibited person possessing a firearm .

Detectives interviewed the suspect who admitted to being the shooter.

According to a press release the Monongalia County Sheriff's Deputies reported to a shots fired call at the Exotica Life Gentleman's Club, or Club Exotica.

911 officials reported that one person was shot and was being taken to Ruby by a private vehicle.

According to the press release deputies requested assistance from the Morgantown Police Department, Granville Police Department and Star City Police Department to secure the scene.

The victim's name has not yet been released. The Monongalia County Sheriff's Office Detective Division is investigating.

According to Monongalia County 911 officials, police responded to a shooting around 5:30 Saturday morning.

They say the shooting happened at a gentleman's club on Earl L Core Road.

The Monongalia County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

There is no word yet if anyone was hurt.
