UPDATE: "Armed and dangerous man" behind bars in Upshur County

UPSHUR COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- UPDATE 5/17/2019
A man who police say was considered to be armed and dangerous is now in jail.

Timothy Strickland of Buckhannon was arrested after he was allegedly on the run for more than a week.

According to the criminal complaint, Strickland allegedly sold drugs to a confidential informant bank in October of 2018.

Authorities say it happened less than one-thousand feet of the Upshur County Middle School.

Strickland is in jail. No bond has been set.

Authorities say Dustin Landis has been caught.

Timothy Strickland, who is considered armed and dangerous, Aman Sweilam, Keith Johnson, and Thomas Lowe are still on the run.

Police are searching for an armed and dangerous man, as well as 4 others, after a major drug bust in Upshur County Thursday.

According to the Mountain Lakes Drug and Violent Crime Unit, officers are searching for Timothy Strickland, who is considered armed and dangerous. They are also searching for Aman Sweilam, Keith Johnson, Thomas Lowe, and Dustin Landis.

The five are wanted after a "drug roundup" where Candy Suttle, Lucas Unger, Wesley Mayes, Brandon McCartney, John Shipman, Ashley Sipe, Robin Norris, Chad Hayes, Garry Morgan, and Johnna Courtney were taken into custody. Police say they found 53 heroin stamps, 62 grams of methamphetamine, 100 dosage units of controlled substances, thousands of dollars of counterfeit money, and .25 ounces of marijuana.

Officials did not say the location(s) where the drug bust took place.
