UPDATE: Roadway reopens after fuel spill in Marion County

911 officials confirmed roadway closure from oil spill.

According to Marion County 911 dispatch, the fuel spill has been cleaned up and the road has now been reopened.

A roadway is closed after a fuel spill was reported to Marion county 911 officials.

Officials say they received a report from someone who said the road was slick and that they smelled something outside.

The fuel spill happened on the intersection of Middletown Road and Booth Creek Road.

Boothesville and Valley fire department are on the scene cleaning up the spill.
