Salem man behind bars after being found with stolen gun

HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A man from Salem is behind bars after being found with a stolen gun.

According to the criminal complaint, officers with the Harrison County Sheriff's Office responded to a suspicious person and identified Paul Campbell Jr. Police say Campbell had an orange bag with him containing meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Police then noticed Campbell putting his hands in his pockets and discovered a firearm. Campbell began resisting and was placed under arrest. The gun came back stolen and Campbell has been charged with prohibited possession of a firearm.
