BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. (WDTV) - Not a lot of snow for this storm system. Could be up to 4" in the higher terrain with at least 2" likely. The lower elevations will get less persistent and more spotty snow activity. Some could be moderate at times, but most looks to be light. Spotty accumulations near and west of I-79, generally up to 1".
Most of the snow will fall before sunrise but continue in the mountains until around noon. Snow will dry up area-wide then and clouds will break for sunshine.
Another storm system Thursday into Friday could bring more snow. However, much of this may start as rain, leaving little left for snow totals. It all depends on how fast the cold air can move into the area.
Another round of snow showers Sunday.
