Snow: an inconvenience for adults, but pure joy for kids

FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WDTV) - Two days ago, temperatures climbed into the high sixties. Today, they plummeted back into the twenties. We visited Valley Worlds of Fun in Fairmont to find out what kids had to say about the unseasonably warm weather.

For children, summer means trips to the pool and the beach, snacking on popsicles, and time off from school. But kids argue that there are plenty of reasons to love winter.

"Snow!" shouted 10-year-old Colton Ellis, who was celebrating his birthday at Valley World of Fun. His friends, Mitchell, Tate, Adelaide, and Natalie Grace agreed.

"You can make snowmen and snow angels, and have hot chocolate," the boys explained.

Adelaide said, "I would probably just [like to] stay in my room and read a book."
