MONONGALIA COUNTY, W. Va. (WDTV) West Virginia University held it's annual spring flower festival at the core arboretum in Morgantown.
Open to the public, this was the festival's second run and featured quite a few activities for guests to participate in. The festival had a live musical performance along with food trucks.
Participants walked the arboretum's mile long trail dedicated to the blooming wildflowers in the area.
The flowers only bloom for a short time during the early spring period, so the event offered an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the view of the flowers freely.
The flowers will bloom again next spring as well.
