Suspect charged after drug bust in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV) -- A man is in custody after a drug bust Thursday morning.

According to Bridgeport Police Chief John Walker, The Greater Harrison County Drug And Violent Crimes Task Force executed a sealed state SW at a home on Ocello Street around 6 a.m.

The suspect, Hassan Kinard, jumped out of a second-story window in an attempt to avoid police. He was taken into custody after a foot pursuit through the neighborhood.

A search of the home led officers to a 1/4 pound of crystal meth and an ounce of marijuana.

Kinard is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana and methamphetamine.

MHIT South, WV State Police Special Response Team, Harrison County Sheriff’s Department K-9 and Clarksburg Police Department also responded.
