UPDATE: 3 taken to hospital from accident, I-79 N reopened

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) -
Officials say the roadway has been reopened.

UPDATE 12/21/2018 9:30 a.m.
Three people were taken to the hospital in the three-vehicle accident this morning that still has I-79 shut down before the Westover/Morgantown exit, according to the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office.

The severity of their injuries is not immediately available.

Because a reconstructionist is working at the accident, officials said the road could be closed for a while, and there is no timetable for it to reopen.
