Peace, Love & Little Donuts started as a family shop in Pittsburgh, then quickly expanded to several states.

"It's about making custom donuts for people; we do fresh donuts, all day long," said general manager Scott Gray.

A little over a year ago, they opened their shop at Suncrest Towne Centre in Morgantown and it has quickly become a local favorite.

"It's adorable and the donuts are really good," said customer Katie Conley.

Another customer, Ramy Nasser, said, "They have a lot of variety and it's delicious."

Lines can sometimes be out the door, but the wait is worth it. Each donut is made-to-order in front of customers.

"It's something you can't find anywhere else," said Gray.

The donuts come in a variety of fun flavors like fruity pebbles,m s'mores, banana split, and maple bacon, which was voted as Morgantown's favorite.

"I like the Samoa, the Boston Cream Pie, and the Maple Bacon," Conley said.

During busy days, they can go through up to 30 batches of fresh doughnuts. The process starts with a simple batter of cake-mix and water.

"We put that into our machine, then the machine drops them into the oil. They get flipped and come out onto a cooling tray," Gray explained.

He continued, "From there we dip them in different icings and sugars, and put whatever toppings on them that the customer wants."

They also have gluten free donuts and the entire store is nut-free. With something for everyone, this groovy donut shop is sure to to brighten anyone's day.

"It's a great thing. You don't see too many people coming in for donuts with frowns on their faces," Gray said.

The Morgantown shop will be introducing holiday flavors in the next few weeks. They're also working on possibly creating some new flavors for the season.

Soon, the shop will expand it's locally sourced coffee line to include espresso drinks.
