If you're in the mood for a burger, you may just prefer a classic cheeseburger.

If you're feeling a little more adventurous and want to add some extravagant topping, you can get both of those types at Tailpipes in Morgantown.

In fact, a burger and a milkshake go together like fries and ketchup or West Virginia and John Denver.

"We have a lot of creative minds back here," said general manager Lauren Collins.

Collins has helped put Tailpipes on the map as a unique dining experience in downtown Morgantown.

"Students love it," she said. :Kids come in especially on Sundays when they're eating free."

Since they opened their doors about nine and a half years ago, they have made it a priority to cater to everyone -- not just WVU.

"We have our signature burgers," she said. We have things like pineapple, banana, or avocado. If you just want a classic cheeseburger, that's fine too."

It even leaves Collins impressed with the combos people have come up with.

"You can build one if you want," she said. "We have this one guy that gets this triple burger that has literally every single topping."

That's going above and beyond their signature burgers like the Corvette, which is stacked with pimento cheese, bacon, cole slaw, barbecue sauce, and the icing on the cake is a fried green tomato.

"Have you ever tried sweet potato fries with marshmallow fluff and Cinnamon?"

They also have sweet potato fries on top of regular fries. Collins went on to say these signature or build your own burgers are perfectly paired with one of their milkshakes.

"We have things like chocolate almond Nutella, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles is one of our top sellers."

They're taking part in the Taste of West Virginia on Thursday in Morgantown. The event goes to benefit the American Red Cross.

"Our cook, Thomas, he loves to be able to show off some of his more creative ideas that don't necessarily fit the bill for the restaurant per say."
