HARRISON COUNTY, W.Va. (WDTV)-- The Thrasher engineering group held a build day, Saturday, with their employees for the Harrison County chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
According to Connect Bridgeport the volunteers were sawing, sanding and drilling the wood used to build beds for children whose families can't afford one.
Dave Lang started the project in Harrison County when he retired. The nationwide nonprofit is dedicated to finding children who don't have the luxury of a bed.
After they're built and assembled they are delivered to the children.
